  We are now using the APP and website calendar. Anything we think parents should know about in the school diary, will be posted on here. We will still use newsletters and app messages to keep you up to date, this is just another way you can check when things are happening.

• MacMillan Coffee Morning

  This morning we had our annual cake sale to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. This charity does vital work in researching and supporting children and adults who have cancer. 

  We raised a superb £230 this year, thanks to the generosity of parents, both sending in a huge number of cakes, and the money they sent with children to buy them back again. Well done everyone!

  

• Reception class first lunch at school

  Today, children in Reception, stopped at school for their very first school dinner.

   

  

• First Day Back

  What a lovely first day back! Everyone looked really smart in their new uniforms and really happy to be back.

  We will continue to let children come to school wearing their PE kits on PE days. Your teachers will be in contact very soon to let you know when they will need them. Don't forget, as we said before the summer break, school times are back to normal, i.e. 8.55am (doors open at 8.45am), till 3.30pm. The one way system on the playground will not be used for now.

  Now that the whole school is starting and finishing at the same time, please continue to park a reasonable distance from school so that you are able to find a place to stop more easily, and the congestion near to the school building doesn't become a problem.
