The children are given English and Maths homework every week. English and Maths homework is set on a Friday to be handed in the following Monday. Leading up to the SAT's the children will be set an extra homework task on a Wednesday to be handed in the following Monday. The children also have CGP books to complete as part of their SAT's revision.
Spellings booklets have been given out with the full terms spelling list in and the children will be tested on a Wednesday and a Friday. The spelling booklets are expected to be completed as part of the children's homework. Periodically, the children will be given project homework tasks, which are linked to our History and Geography topics.
It is essential that the children realise the importance of doing their homework. It is good training for Year 7 in Secondary School.
