Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
One of our lovely grand parents has planted the school hanging baskets up for us. An incredibly kind gesture. They have really brightened up the main entrance and the garden ends of school. Thank you so much.
Chippendale Timber Products, Darwen, have made these gorgeous benches for us for the Outdoor Classroom. They are already being put to good use, and will be for many years to come. Thank you so much for this kind donation, it is very much appreciated.
Our fantastic Y6 class have set off on their travels to sunny Garstang! They will be climbing, sailing and doing lots of other adventurous things for the next 3 days. We are looking forwards to hearing all about it on their return.
Y6 parents, you can stay up to date by checking in on the Y6 class FB page. The signal at the centre is terrible, but the staff will do their best to share what they can with you, when they can grab a moment, which isn't always easy when you're working 24 hours a day!
Many thanks to the staff who are running this trip, and are giving our children such a superb opportunity to experience things they might otherwise miss out on, especially given the wretched year we've all had.
This message is a follow up to the letter I sent you last Friday about surge testing in Blackburn with Darwen. We were meant to have our allocation of PCR tests to be used by families when bubbles go down, delivered to us by yesterday at the very latest. Sadly, at time of writing this, they are yet to arrive. We will let you know as soon as they do. Once they are available to collect, please call in to school if your child's bubble is closed or closes, and ask for enough PCR tests for your entire household, if you would like to get everyone tested.
Stay safe and well,
Mr. Matthews
UPDATE (Thursday 17th June)
