  • Christmas Post Box

Mon 19 Nov 2018 Mr. Matthews

Christmas will be here in just over a month. Now is the time to write to Father Christmas if you think you've been good enough this year! With that in mind, we now have a special post box located in the main entrance, which children will be able to use to send letters to the big man himself. Over the next couple of weeks, children in Reception, Y1 & Y2 will write letters at school and post them in the Santa box. Any other children from the juniors can also join in if they would like to. If you do write a letter at home, please make sure you include the child's full name and home address on the letter. The last post for letters to Father Christmas using our post box will be Friday 30th November.

From Monday 3rd December, the post box will be used for children to send their Christmas cards to each other. Please remind children to write the full name of the person they are sending a card to, and the class. Hopefully, the elves who will be sorting the cards out each day, then stand a chance of getting the card to the correct person!

  • Daily Mile

Mon 19 Nov 2018 Mr. Matthews
We have been running the daily mile now for many months, weather allowing. Until now, we have used a combination of cones and other landmarks around the playgrounds to show children where to run. Today, we are delighted to be able to report, we are having a daily mile route put on the playground, so children know exactly where to run and how many laps they need to do to complete the mile. It should make things even easier and more fun for the children.
  • Children in Need Day 2018

Fri 16 Nov 2018 Mr. Matthews

We joined in with many other schools across the country today, to support the wonderful charity, Children In Need.

Everyone looked amazingly spotty this morning, and a huge number of cakes were donated for the cake sale. Many thanks as ever for your superb support. We raised an amazing £396, every penny of which will go to Children In Need.

    Thanks everyone!
