PE Our PE days this year will be Wednesday and Thursday, one session each week will be taught by a specialist coach. Please ensure that your child arrives at school in their PE kit on these days.
Homework All children have a homework book. This book contains a grid detailing the activities that need to be completed throughout that half term. We ask that this book is returned every Thursday, to allow for marking.
Spellings Each week, on a Monday, your child will be set spellings on Spelling Shed. We will be working on these same spellings in class and spelling tests will take place on a Friday. Please login and get your child to practise as often as they can.
Reading Each week, your child will read 1:1 with an adult in school and as part of a guided reading group. It is important that children bring their reading bag to school everyday, so that we can keep you informed of your child’s progress in reading. We encourage children to continue their love of reading at home and appreciate it when parents sign their child’s reading record.
Library Books will need to be returned on Tuesday mornings.
