  Don't forget that we break up for Easter today, Friday 23rd March, at 1pm.

  We return to school on Monday 9th April.

• Easter Egg Hunt

  Mrs Marr and Mrs Halsall have organised an Easter Egg hunt which all children will join in with this week. On Tuesday afternoon, children in EYFS and KS1 will go on a hunt, with KS2 children joining in on Thursday.

  Every child will win something, to celebrate Easter, which is almost upon us!

• Easter Egg bingo

  Our wonderful PTA, FOA, organised their annual Easter Egg bingo event tonight. It was a full house as usual. Everyone had a great time and won lots of Easter eggs, and in doing so, raised lots of money which will go towards future FOA projects. The most recent FOA project was the climbing wall in the playground, which the children love to use.

• Darwen Swimming Gala

  Our fantastic swimmers took part in the annual Darwen Swimming Gala tonight. There were some brilliant individual efforts made, culminating in a 4th overall for our school. Well done everyone!

• Thursday 8th March Snow Day

  Due to yesterdays rather unexpected snow day, we will reschedule the Y3 Tudor Banquet to another day. As soon as we know when it is, we will let you know!
