Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We were very fortunate to be able to take all of Y5 and most of Y6 to visit the University of Lancashire Science Festival. This is an incredibly popular event, with tickets to many of the workshops selling out each year within the first hour or so of them being released.
Our children were fantastic all day, despite the appalling heat and the long walks between each event. We were incredibly proud of them all!
Our wonderful Y6 class are off to Winmarleigh Hall, near Garstang, for their annual adventurous activity weekend. They will be doing all sorts of things including, climbing, orienteering and abseiling. They are thankfully blessed with lovely weather, so don't need to battle the elements this time round!
Good luck everyone, and many thanks to the staff who have given up their entire weekend to make this trip possible.
Parents of Y6 children, download the app and watch the trip unfold on Facebook, search for AshleighPrimary.
Each year, children in Y5 organise fund raising events throughout the year in conjunction with our local rotary club. Rotakids is a fantastic scheme, bringing together schools from across the country.
On Friday, our Rotakids leaders from Y5 will join schools from across the Northwest to take part in fund raising related activities, at the University of Lancaster.
