Ashleigh's Got Talent Grand Final

This afternoon all of the finalists for Ashleigh's Got Talent performed brilliantly!
Our three judges had the horrendous job of choosing the top 3 infant acts and top 3 junior acts. The standard was ridiculously high.

Easter Egg Bingo

FOA will be holding their legendary Easter Egg Bingo on Friday 16th March at 6.30pm. This is a fantastic evening of fun for the whole family. School will also be holding a non-uniform day on the 16th March in return for children bringing in an Easter egg. We really appreciate your support and generosity.

If you would like to join us, tickets for the event will cost £3.00 each (this purchases a book of bingo tickets. Children under 4 years old are free but will still require ...a ticket so we can monitor seats, when requesting tickets please state if your child is under 4 years old.

This year we will also be offering meat & potato pie or cheese & onion pie with all the trimmings, for those who would like to have supper at the bingo. This MUST be pre-ordered on the slip below and returned in a sealed named envelope to the office. An adult portion is £3.50 and a child portion is £2.00. Payment is by either cash or cheque. You can bring your own refreshments on the night but FOA will also have a bar and tuckshop.

We will also be holding a raffle to win a mega Easter hamper and there will also be cash prizes!! There are a limited number of tickets and they will be sold on a first come first served basis.

World Book Day

World Book Day this year is on this Thursday, 1st March and we will be holding events throughout the day in school. The theme this year is 'Share a Story' to promote reading at home and school. Please send your children in with their favourite story so they can share it with the class.

It's a non uniform day as usual, and to make it even easier for parents, children can wear their usual clothes OR dress up in a costume, the choice is yours! The cost is £1 which will go towar...ds the school library.

All children will also receive their own £1 World Book Day voucher, which can be exchanged in bookshops for the special World Book Day titles, or used towards another title they would like.

We would love you to join us and share your love of reading with the children. Parents can visit your child’s class where you can read your favourite story to a small group of children. If you are interested please contact the office before Wednesday 28th February.

Don't forget, tickets for the grand final on Wednesday 28th February, at 1.30pm, are now available from the main office. They are free, but each finalists family are initially restricted to 3 tickets, with additional tickets being released on the day.
