Our wonderful reception children completed their first full week in school today. Parents were invited to have lunch with their children to celebrate.
Over the last few years the popularity of Facebook has been extraordinary! As a school we have been a little reluctant to start using it, preferring to use the straightforward Twitter instead.
For those of you new to Twitter, every class has a Twitter feed and they are used to share pictures, videos and anything else which will fit into 140 characters about our wonderful children and school.
However, Twitter does have its limitations, the primary one being, it's not as popular as Facebook.
We have decided to trial the use of Facebook during this term. We will still use Twitter as our main way of communicating current events in school for now, this may change if Facebook becomes an effective tool for school.
Once the new Facebook page is up and running, we will let you know, probably via the website and Twitter!
Our wonderful Y6 children wrote to the school's leadership team to apply for various jobs around school. After much deliberation and debate, the following children were appointed to the following jobs:
